The work is an altogether different experience. They give you all the facilities- make you comfortable, give you your space and all that you are required to do is work hard. Today, I plugged in my iPod and took the 199 under the unrelenting sun amidst people who sometimes look like animated characters from a cartoon film. Anyways, there is a thing about music- it makes life look like a movie. In a movie, we usually have background music playing and the protagonists playing their parts in the foreground. Sometimes, I step out of my body; stand in the distance and watch. It surprises me. I like what I see.
Rice and chicken was on the menu again with some jasmine tea to end it with. And I concluded that jasmine is best suited for talcum powders. I was reading papers and trying to figure out the different visual pathways. What initially looked like two pathways slowly revealed itself to be at least three. I worked late today, after 5.45 i.e. it didn't look any different though. The people in the neighboring cubicles were still sitting, some playing games on their computers. Not talking to anybody all day long apart from the people at the counter of the food stall or the girl at the makeshift boutique desk does seem odd. There is noise around but in that inner circle, there is silence.
Pure Shores from The Beach is a wonderful song. It gives you a spring in your step.
Bon chance, à demain!

pure shores isn't the only song that's nice on the beach album...
other ones are nice too...
and 'the beach' is a whole philosophy in itself.. (look at me ... i'm off on a rant..)
it isn't the only nice song- but it sure is one of those songs that make you feel good no matter where you are- like travelling the distance and then getting what you want finally- what else do you need?
